In the control interface of modern electronic devices, a small yet crucial component is everywhere - it is the Tactile Switch. With its sensitive touch and reliable performance, tactile switches have become one of the most direct and commonly used "bridges" for our interaction with the electronic world.

Core function: Instantaneous on-off control

The core function of a tactile switch is to provide an instantaneous, short stroke on/off control. Its working principle is very simple and direct:
Press to connect: When the user presses the button cap (button) of the switch vertically with their finger (usually not requiring a lot of force), the internal spring or pot piece (metal spring) deforms, causing the two contacts in the circuit to instantly conduct.
Release and disconnect: Once the finger is released, the button cap resets under the rebound force of the internal spring or spring, and the two contacts quickly separate, disconnecting the circuit.
Touch feedback: High quality tactile switches provide a clear "click" or tactile feedback when pressed, allowing users to clearly perceive that the switch has been successfully triggered.
